Our volunteers end up in amazing places. Lakevious Telfair graduated and is seeing the world during his time in the army. Other youth volunteers have traveled to South Africa, Thailand and Belize. They're pursuing degrees at colleges near (Winthrop, University of South Carolina) and far (Duke, Brown, Notre Dame). There is no doubt that volunteering at Richland Library will take you places.
Our summer youth volunteer program is active at all Richland Library locations from early June to mid-August. Our young volunteers ( grades 5-12) work one hour per week to assist with the daily work of the library and help us provide the best possible service to our customers and community members.
